Teaching involves the art of collaboration.

My pedagogy has been shaped by the countless individuals who have helped me grow as an instructor.

First, I would like to thank my grandmother, Sheila Fearon, who taught me the value of listening with care. This philosophy shapes my engagement with the social world. Secondly, I would like to acknowledge Jason Frey, my high school soccer coach, without his lessons of patience and practice I would not be the instructor I am today.

Additionally, I would like to recognize the professors here at USF who have natured my growth as a young instructor and graduate student. Dr. Aubrey Huber was my first mentor for public speaking and she went above and beyond to offer her support and ensure my success. Dr. Huber spent countless hours of graduate teaching, public speaking training, classroom observations, and guidance to help make me a more invested and critical teacher. Dr. Ambar Basu, who is my academic advisor, without his support and vision I would be lost both as a teacher and student.

Lastly, I would like to acknowledge Dr. Mariaelena Bartesaghi, Dr.Fred Steier, and Dr. David Payne who have all invested time, energy and wisdom towards my pedagogical and academic success.
